Architecture for Living
Homes that breathe with nature
Sustainable modern architecture — where passive design meets natural materials, and every space connects to the landscape.
Built from the
ground up.
Every Forma project begins with the landscape — we study the light, wind patterns, and terrain before drawing a single line. Our timber frames are precision-cut using traditional joinery and modern engineering. Each detail is considered: how the morning sun enters the kitchen, how the cross-breeze moves through the living space.

Construction Standards
Simplicity
with soul.
Our interiors celebrate the materials we build with. Exposed timber frames become architectural features. Clay plaster walls regulate humidity. Wide-plank floors warm underfoot. Every window is positioned to frame a specific view — a tree, a mountain, a garden.
Natural Materials
FSC timber, clay plaster, and stone sourced within 100 miles
Daylight Design
Strategic glazing maximizes natural light, minimizes heat loss
Thermal Comfort
Radiant floors and exceptional insulation for all seasons
Quiet Interiors
Triple-pane windows create sanctuary from the outside world
From Our Clients
“Forma understood that my home needed to disappear into the hillside. The result is a space where the forest feels like another room — floor-to-ceiling glass that frames the evergreens like paintings.”

Living roofs,
living homes.
Each project integrates with its landscape — some with planted roofs that return habitat to the site, others with terraces that extend the living space into the outdoors. The architecture serves both the inhabitants and the ecosystem.

Your vision.
Our craft.
We accept eight projects each year. Every home receives our full attention from first sketch to final walkthrough. The timeline from concept to completion is typically sixteen months. Our waiting list reflects the care we bring to each collaboration.
01
Discovery
We visit your site, study the landscape, and understand how you live. This becomes the foundation of every design decision.
02
Design
Our architects translate your vision into spatial reality. Passive performance, material selection, and landscape integration happen simultaneously.
03
Build
Construction with our partner builders who specialize in high-performance homes. Weekly site visits and milestone reviews.
04
Move In
We hand over a home that exceeds energy predictions. Most clients produce more power than they use within the first year.
Eight projects. One studio. Full attention.
